Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S) –RADAR Electronics Department is now accepting resumes for an Engineering Fellow.

Raytheon Engineering Fellows are respected and innovative leaders in their field with visibility and impact across the Rl& S Business Unit.

The department resides within the Rl& S Secure Sensor Solutions (S3) business area.

This opportunity requires significant domain expertise of RF systems and subsystems design / solutions, Receiver / Exciter (REX) subsystems, and associated technologies.

This opportunity also requires demonstrated leadership skills in order to lead multi-disciplinary teams in pursuit and program execution.

Military RADARs across multiple platforms and mission profiles use our REX subsystems.The department is responsible for the full scope of REX and RF subsystem product solutions, spanning architecture trades, frequency plan development, design, development, integration, deployment, and sustainment and associated integrated system verification solutions.This person will be responsible for leadership in developing and analyzing subsystem architectures that meet mission, cost, and schedule goals.

Candidates should be recognized experienced professionals in the design and development of receivers, exciters, local oscillators, waveform generators, FPGAs, power convertors, and RF subsystems for Radar, EW, communications, and/or other REX systems across multiple platforms.Required SkillsMinimum 12 years of related RF subsystem hardware design engineering experience.

Expertise with RF theory/applications; receiver/exciter technologies; RF subsystem architectures and analysis including development of frequency plansProficiency with RF system and REX power and control subsystemsSignificant experience in RF system integration and characterizationSignificant experience in hardware production and troubleshootingDemonstrated proficiency in providing technical direction and mentoringExperience writing proposals including developing a technical solution, identifying risks and opportunities, and writing both technical and cost volumesExcellent verbal and technical writing /presentation skills; requires an executive presenceRequires occasional domestic business travelMust be a U.S.

Citizen able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance within one year of start date; Active clearance and ability to receive SAP / SCI clearances preferredRequired EducationA Bachelor’s Degree is required.

A STEM degree is required.
