This department provides the full range of systems design, analysis, integration, verification, and validation activities in support of SAS radar programs.Primary Responsibilities:The Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) provides technical team leadership throughout the product lifecycle, including hardware and software design, development, integration and test (I& T), and requirements verification using the Integrated Product Development System (IPDS).Responsible for total ownership of the day-to-day operation of the multi-disciplinary/ cross-functional team, ensuring the associated products are developed and delivered within the allotted cost, schedule, technical quality, and performance parameters.Work with the Program Manager, Lead System Engineer, and Chief Engineer (CE) to establish program organization, schedule (IMS) and milestones, Planning Packages, Program Management Reports, and Performance Management Baselines.Present weekly and monthly team status in program reviews.Resonsible for generation of specification documents, such as Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and System Description Documents (SDDs).Manage requirements using the Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS).Lead development of verifiable requirements, performance modeling, simulation and analysis.Responsible for creating/maintaining the System Model in Cameo (with requirements traceability) using the principles of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).Ensure early identification, communication, and mitigation of technical, cost and/or schedule risks for all aspects of the product scope.Support Configuration Control Board (CCB), Engineering Review Board (ERB), Failure Review Board (FRB), Risk and Opportunity Review Boards.Use Earned Value Management System (EVMS) as a Cost Account Manager (CAM) to provide cost and schedule estimates/ impacts for proposed engineering changes or Basis of Estimates (BOEs), preparing Estimate at Completion (EAC) plans, managing the Schedule Performance Index (SPI) and Cost Performance Index (CPI).Mentor the program junior engineers and review their work for quality.Required Skills:Domain KnowledgeMinimum of 8 years of full lifecycle Systems Engineering experienceExperience in systems engineering functions including: Technical Performance Metrics (TPMs), operations concept development, requirements management, technical risk management, interface definition and controlDemonstrated understanding of Airborne Radar system operation, modes, design, development, I& T, requirements verification, repair and sustainmentUnderstanding of Radar modes and collection methodology, with corresponding artifacts influencing Radar productsStrong engineering analytical and technical writing skills, excellent verbal communication skills for engagement with program management, technical team members, and customers and/or subcontractorsAbility to present test data and explain results to management and customersExperience working with budgets and schedulesUse of EVMS and program management toolsDemonstrated strong judgment, negotiation skills, and decision making abilitiesFamiliarity with the execution of technical reviews (SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs) and the tailoring process in preparation for Independent Reviews (IRs) prior to GatesLeadershipDemonstrates and drives Raytheon Values and BehaviorsLeads a culture of trust, transparency, compliance, diversity, inclusion, and accountabilityLeads by example strong work ethic, effective communication, integrity, judgment, coordination, influenceActively engages to solve critical issues to achieve execution excellenceCoordinates needed resources (people, processes, facilities, and tools) to accomplish work products within budget and schedule constraintsAbility to effectively multi-task activities and promptly close priority actionsPromotes a culture of continuous learning, improvement, and mentorshipMentoring and providing direction to junior engineersDesired Skills:Experience as an Integration, Verification & Validation (IV&V) Lead or Technical Lead on a previous programConducting detailed analysis that predicts overall system performance, error margins, and performance budgetsFlight test experience; flight data analysisKnowledge of Special Test Equipment (STE) design, testing, and operationTechnical mentoring as subject matter expert in Radar SystemsBackground in signal processing, modeling, and simulationFamiliarity with MBSE tools (Cameo and Rhapsody)Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, ScrumFamiliarity with Failure Reporting and Corrective Action Systems (FRACAS)Familiarity with Dynamic Object-Oriented Requrements Systems (DOORS).Use of software and languages (MATLAB, SysML, Python, Bash, C++, Java, VBA, Powershell)Required Education: BS Degree in Engineering, Physics, Math, System Engineering or related disciplineDesired Education: MS Degree in Engineering, Physics, Math, System Engineering or related disciplineU.S.
