Job MissionTactical Planning is responsible providing executable production plans which meet requested outputs, drive hardware availability during execution accordingly and drive continuous improvement.We are looking for a candidate who is challenged by making efficient logistic plans in order to secure a swift time-to-market for ASML’s newest products including the commercial product output and customer service requirements.The sector Manufacturing within the Wilton Factory (WF) is responsible for the production of EXE, NXE, DUV, and APPS systems.
The Tactical Planning department is responsible for the day-to-day planning, execution and material staging of the WF work centers.
The Tactical Planner reports to the Planning Manager and works closely with specialists in Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse, Material Handling, Material planning.This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R.
§ 730, et seq.).
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
Job DescriptionResponsible for the operational planning, management and adjustment of production activities so that the agreed production plan is realized with minimum stock and work-in-progress.
Executes production plan in consultation with the responsible production planner.Controls material availability on the basis of the progress of one or more work centers within the factory.Acts as a representative for all Business Planning departments in lean/progress meetings of one or more work centers.Manages the logistics processes of the factory by initiating picking requisitions to the warehouse, monitoring the progress and processing the administration.Acts as trouble-shooter in the field of logistics in order to avoid disruptions to the production process.
Process and solving of disturbances as second line support.Analysis and optimization: Ensure delivery performance of the bottleneck work centers such that optimum use of resource and critical situations can be dealt with.Contributes to the improvement in material control, material planning and parameters by participating in improvement projects.Shows initiative and active input in improvement processes to improve delivery performance (valuable knowledge due to central position in processes by nature of the job).Reporting and communication: Anticipates on problems and communicates these problems with the different departments to resolve them together with these departments.
EducationBachelor degree required.Supply Chain Management or Business Administration preferred.Or equivalent experience.
