We are looking for an individual with experience in physical diesel and gasoline Pipeline trading and marketing on the West Coast (Padd 4 and 5) preferably via California pipelines (Kinder Morgan lines), barge, rail and trucks. The trader will be joining an existing trading book led by a team of experienced industry professionals. This position is home-office based. Preference is to be near the California Market. (Pacific Time-Zone) Responsibilities Expanding an existing physical Refined Products Pipeline Trading book into new markets, and with potentially new products (blendstocks & intermediates). Identifying and exploiting opportunistic and structural arbitrage opportunities. Working closely with Targrays Calgary and Houston-based Refined Products trading desks. Collaborating with Targrays Risk and Senior Management teams. Developing new trading strategies and supply sources across North America. Cultivating and maintaining relationships with suppliers and end users while ensuring close cooperation with the operations and logistics team to ensure smooth and timely trades. Monitoring market trends to capitalize on trading opportunities. Requirements Proven track record of profitable trading the Refined Products sector. (Pipelines) 2 years experience in Refined Products trading and scheduling, ideally both physical and paper in the West Coast markets. Strong existing network of relevant contacts including producers, trading counter-parties and end-users/rack customers Ability to effectively collaborate with team members on a remote basis.
