Title: Game Producer II

Responsibilities:
- Drive the organization and delivery of team’s feature work
- Runs day to day team production operations
- Creates and maintains clean, up-to-date work backlog
- Facilitates team meetings, discussions, and decisions
- Supports team by removing roadblocks and managing distractions
- Directs all team rituals
- Team has predictable planning process
- Cross-functional work planning with accurate estimations
- Velocity tracking on sprint and release basis
- Sprint / milestone commitment tracking
- Dependency / risk tracking
- Quality tracking (bug count, bug velocity, subjective quality post ship)
- Tracks and communicates progress to stakeholders and rest of team
- Tracks ALL work (planned, unplanned, emergent)
- Rolls progress back into master Project tracking methods
- Directs all progress communications
- Responsible for stakeholder management and communication
- Responsible for keeping stakeholders consulted and informed on progress and bought in to discussions as needed for project success
- End to end feature delivery tracking
- Define and ensure work meets definition of done
- Update and track against common delivery checklist for shipping
- Ensure team’s work matches overall Project priorities and goals
- Strategic work alignment & prioritization
- Act as liaison between the team, internal customers, and stakeholders with support from Production Management
- Align team, and be able to articulate how outputs ladder up to strategy and product vision as prioritized by project leadership
- Create team product roadmap that demonstrates the value being delivered (to players or other customers)
- Create and Prioritize team backlog
- Lead product discovery incorporating cross discipline perspectives (such as design, art, and engineering)
- Able to communicate and get stakeholder buy-in on the “why” behind the team’s work
- Player resonance
- Clearly define the audience for the team’s work
- Provide critical product feedback and insight to the team and leadership
- Be the advocate for team’s game and business decisions
- Champion a player focused mindset and be the voice of the player
- Actively review and engage with players via popular channels (forums, events, etc). Deeply understand the pulse of our players.
- Responsible for communicating team staffing needs
- Knowledgeable of team workflows to inform staffing needs, estimates, and risks
- Responsible for understanding total required scope for team’s efforts
- Work with Project Leads to meet staffing needs
- Ensures strong team health, culture, and efficiency
- Team work systems are efficient and adopted by everyone on the team
- Monitors team morale, ensures team has safe and supportive environment where they can succeed.
- Celebrates successes, makes sure team-building happens regularly
- Resolves team problems quickly
