Psychologist II

Responsibilities

Our psychologist will be responsible with facilitating intervention sessions with patients and their families, follow session protocols, and provide consultations to veterans, family members and community providers.

You will work closely with team members to prepare materials for intervention sessions and complete required clinical documentation and electronic data entry, progress notes and all additional required documentation to assist with coordination of the intervention.

Qualifications

PhD or PsyD in Psychology or related fields

Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of CA

Minimum 2 years post doc experience
Experience in the area of military, veterans, family, trauma, prevention and/or research

Experience delivering trauma informed behavioral interventions to clients in individual and particularly group settings
Skill in developing rapport with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to administer assessment protocols.
Skill in keeping accurate and timely records.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have valid driver’s license, auto insurance and access to an automobile.
Flexible hours some evenings and weekends.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Access.

Ability to follow University Policy and Procedures.
