Position Overview
AIT is seeking a talented Profit Analyst who will be responsible for the rating and invoicing of high level accounts as well as working with the ASC agents to ensure timely entry of pick up and delivery expenses.
This position entails a great deal of auditing such as; verifying accuracy of data on mawbs, researching agent and carrier billing discrepancies which consists of gathering data and documentation to ensure timely and accurate invoicing for our customers along with a number of various accounting functions.
What You Will Be Doing Day-to-Day
Understanding and interpreting customer tariffs.
Audit and billing of customer shipments Review of ASC charges daily.
Daily contact with ASC agents to obtain completion of cost for billing purpose.
Auditing of MAWB and daily maintenance of MAWB reweigh report.
Disputing discrepancies with carriers and agents.
Work with sales force regarding billing accuracy.
Back up for ASC cartage billing and CargoWise cartage billing.
Maintain shipments with status of PODWC.
Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as business demands deem necessary.

2+ years of freight forwarding experience required Ability to multi-task in a high pressure environment Self starter, motivated, and driven Must be proficient in MS office applications Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in written form across all levels of the organization and customers.
Working knowledge of the AS400 system preferred Strong organization skills Strong problem solving skills with ability to develop new ideas and innovative solutions Detail-oriented individual with great communication skills Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment Works well within a team and individually.
