Podcast Production Lead

This role will likely start virtually while the firm continues to evaluate the situation.

The Podcast Production Lead will receive a generous total compensation package.

As a Podcast Production Lead at Latham, you will be working closely with the firm’s public relations (“PR”) and marketing teams to develop and oversee the firm’s podcast program.

You will be reporting to the Digital Media Senior Manager.

You will be responsible for podcast channel strategy, program planning, content development, production, and marketing and engagement strategies for the firm’s podcast programs, including Connected With Latham and any additional podcasts, while accomplishing these and other critical functions:
Setting the content strategy for Connected With Latham and other firm podcasts to help establish podcasts as a core channel in the firm’s overall marketing program Working closely with practice and industry leaders, committee chairs, and other administrative leaders to leverage podcasts for the firm’s leadership, marketing, and culture and citizenship programs Collaborating with PR and marketing colleagues to advise on podcast strategy as part of an integrated marketing and communications program Managing the editorial calendar for the firm’s podcasts, including identifying themes and curating stories, managing production, and leading on all marketing initiatives to drive engagement, including social media Advising podcast participants on story development, including script writing, briefing notes and show notes Managing production, including overseeing the ideation and development of branding / creative collaterals, managing logistics, and coordinating editing Analyzing data to support story development and marketing strategy

As a Podcast Production Lead, you will be expected to apply your organizational and communication skills while displaying a positive, high-energy attitude.

The successful Lead must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, strong writing skills including script and narrative development, and strong technical aptitude with experience on digital platforms.

A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required.

A minimum of five (5) years of experience in marketing/communications, preferably in a professional services firm, may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.

A minimum of six (6) years of experience in an audio and/or digital marketing/communications role is desired.
