Insights Analyst – Publishing Live Ops, GPS

The Role As an Insights Analyst on the Player Support team, you’ll report directly to the Insights Manager of Live Operations within Worldwide Publishing (WWP).

The main goals of Insights in Live Operations are to enhance the decision-making of leaders throughout the organization, guide and build strategic, operational and financial plans and improve processes and systems.

You will perform advanced data analysis using principles of operations management to influence and guide decisions on project prioritization, staffing, forecasting and Key Performance Indicators like support queue wait time, agent performance, player satisfaction and player churn.

You will work with multi-departmental decision makers and regional stakeholders to analyze product and business goals, identify opportunities to use player data more effectively, and present findings as they arise.

Responsibilities Aggregate and analyze petabytes of game and player data in preparation for deeper analysis and reporting Build dashboards that allow team members to track product performance and self-serve insights for decision-making Collaborate with researchers, data scientists, business intelligence analysts and data engineers to set up surveys and focus groups, determine test sizing/demographic and analyze key results to make strategic recommendations Determine the best set of metrics to measure operational performance Communicate strategic recommendations and product outcomes in front of business leaders and decision makers Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related discipline Professional experience with data analysis or data visualizations Professional experience in project-based work, involving collaborating with other team members or working with a client Proficient in SQL and Tableau Desired Qualifications Professional work experience in management consulting, business operations, strategy, consumer insights, or related experience Proficient in Google Analytics and Python For this role, you’ll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and choices that focus on your fellow Rioters, who are the customers of your work.
