Home Care Staffing Coordinator

Come work for a company that cares about it’s employeesAndroscoggin Home Healthcare Hospice currently has a full-time opening for a Home Care Administrative Coordinator out of our Presque Isle Branch Office.

This position coordinates the scheduling and staffing of clients and patients receiving our services.Some key responsibilities include: Develop and coordinate schedules to ensure client/patient coverage with direct care staff and communicate with both.Communicate, staff and coordinate schedule changes as needed.

Partner with and communicate hiring/staffing needs to Hiring Coordinators and follow-up regularly.

Communicate directly with clients/patients and employees on a regular basis in order to understand availability, concerns and needs.Maintain and document employee availability.Document client/patient and employee feedback.

Work with funding sources on case coordination.

Schedule open process; notify client/patient of changes in services or charges.

Monitor employee tasks against the care/treatment plan.

Update client/patient information in EMR such as contact changes, certification hour changes.

Respond to client/patient inquiries and resolve client/patient issues as appropriate.

Participate in orientation as requested.

Verify employee time record and resolve issues prior to Payroll processing.

Partner and communicate with administrative departments regarding employee or client/patient related issues (i.e.

Human Resources, Quality Assurance, Billing, Payroll) Communicate staffing, scheduling or other issues and concerns with Team Leader.

Monitor, audit, update and maintain required reports.

Schedule supervision, comps, training and in-services for staff.Attend EAD’s.

Meet or exceed defined productivity and performance measures.

Supervise assigned staff to include providing ongoing communication and drafting and delivering employee performance reviews, discipline and completing required HR paperwork, etc.

Ensure currency of employee certifications, licenses, training and documentation.

Document complaints for non-clinical issues.Assist in investigating client/patient or employee complaints and concerns.Complete investigation reports.

Document client/patient incidents and communicate with appropriate clinical or administrative staff.

Provide back-up for other Scheduling Coordinators as needed.

May be responsible for on-call.

Assist in reception desk phone coverage as needed.

RequirementsAssociate’s degree or equivalent.

Minimum 1 year in a high volume office environment with at least 1 year supervising staff.Associates degree with 3 years office and supervisory experience is preferred.Prior experience in a high-volume call center or staffing environment is a plus.Qualifications: Professional phone skills; working knowledge of MS Office and EMR or related databases Strong skills to multi-task, problem solve, as well as organize and prioritize work Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
