The position is flexible and we are seeking a candidate with part
– or full-time availability (20
– 40 hours / week).

This position is an excellent opportunity to join our growing team and work collaboratively.nn nn n nn nn Job Responsibilities nn nn n nn Proficient knowledge in the field of genetics including identification and assessment of hereditary syndromes, pharmacogenetics, lifestyle variants, testing strategies, and results interpretation Counsel patients on whole genome or genetic panel results over video or phone; including primary and secondary findings Provide pre-test counseling if requested Ability to read, understand, interpret, and extrapolate relevant findings from the medical literature as it relates to genetic risk assessment Documentation of all consults in a HIPAA compliant manner Collaborate with other departments (marketing, data science, project managers) to contribute to development of the whole genome sequencing platform and ensure accuracy of marketing materials such as the website and brochures.

Additional state licensure is preferred.
1+ year of experience with next generation sequencing and/or whole genome sequencing Experience counseling highly-educated and motivated patients Strong client relation and communication skills.
