Photo Editor Department: Global Creative Direct Reports: Yes FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Location: 3880 N Mission Los Angeles, CA 90031 Job Purpose: The Sr.
Photo Editor will be responsible for supervising the day to day operations of the Photo Editors, ensuring final image selections are appropriate for E-Commerce use.
Deliverables: Select images for use on the web Markup images with notes for retouching Review images after retouching to identify any errors or additional work needed Discuss with Photographers any changes that should be made on set Develop and train Photo Editors by offering constructive criticism and guidance Perform call outs for all digital retouching Facilitate communication between Photographers, Stylists, Merchandisers, and Retouchers Approve all final image selections for E-Commerce use Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications: BFA in Photography, Illustration, Graphic Design, or equivalent experience required Must have 3-5 years of professional experience in image retouching, editing, and/or photography Fashion retail and E-Commerce experience preferred Must have clear understanding of proper image formatting, editing, and enhancing techniques Strong knowledge of Photo editing software including Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Bridge required Capture One experience a plus Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment required Prior supervisory and leadership experience required Must have a keen eye for fashion/model photography as well as still life product photograph FOREVER 21, is an American fast fashion retailer headquartered in Los Angeles, California.
