Our client is seeking to add a Remote Commercial General Liability/Environmental Claims Examiner to their New Jersey Team. This person would be responsible for directly handling moderate to complex Commercial General Liability and Environmental Liability including Slip and Falls, Toxic Tort, Asbestos, Premise Liability, and Bodily Injury losses through closure. Responsibilities of this position include coverage analysis, investigation, evaluation, negotiation and settlement of assigned claims. This person would have the ability to work remotely!
- Investigate losses, identify coverage, evaluate liability and damages, review and analyze documents and legal pleadings.
- Develop plan of action to proactively conclude claims, timely evaluate damages, engage other parties in negotiations and settle claims pursuant to guidelines.
- Establish and maintain proper reserves for each claim to accurately reflect the financial exposure.
Requirements:
- 3 – 7+ years of Commercial General Liability and/or Environmental claims experience.
- Well versed in Coverage analysis of primary and excess coverage
- Must have experience working for an Insurance Carrier and/or TPA.
- Must have experience handling litigated files.
- Bachelor’s Degree strongly desired
Salary/Benefits:
- $40.00/hr to $50.00/hr (depending on experience)
