PRPLLC provides expert resources to fill the demanding requirements for outsourced project and construction management solutions on behalf of corporate client project management organizations within the public and private sectors.nn nn n nn nn Position Purpose and Focus nn nnThe Document Control Specialist provides processes and procedures to effectively assist the project team with data management, document retention, and workflow processes.

The job entails face-to-face interaction with both customers and internal management.

Duties will include, but are not limited to, defining file naming conventions, quality checking documents, Document Management System administration/support, and workflow management.

The Document Control Specialist will work hand in hand with the project management team and will support the team with other project controls functions as needed.nn nn n nn nn Essential Duties and Responsibilities nn Manage company documents while also ensuring their accuracy, quality, and integrity Controlling the retrieval and response of construction project documentation Communicate directly with your assigned project teams and provide any training needed Help project teams receive and process project documents such as meeting minutes, drawings, specifications, approvals, and related items.

Store, manage, and track project documents in a Document Management System/Database Assist with records management procedures and policies including documentation, record retention, and retrieval.

Provide training and support to project teams and other outside contractors to help them feel comfortable using an electronic system for tracking and reviewing documents regardless of their technical experience.

Perform internal audits on project documents and document control database user accounts.

Gather requirements for implementing new projects.

nn n nn nn Qualifications and Success Factors nn BA / BS degree in related field for higher level Ability to deal effectively with stressful situations Ability to prioritize, manage time well, multitask, and troubleshoot for multiple projects Strong decision-making ability Advanced oral and written communication skills Proficiency in SharePoint, Aconex, or other document management software Experience with workflow/process flow development Experience in Work Breakdown Structure development Experience with cost-schedule change control processes Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
