Sales Analyst – Temporary

nnThe Sales Analyst
– Macro Focused serves as the primary business contact for assigned Accounts and El Super internal departments.

The Analyst is responsible for analysis and interpretations of customer sales data and working with internal teams to recommend actions to meet the strategic objectives of the organization.

The position focuses on the automatization of reports related to the responsibilities mentioned above.

· Compile, analyze, validate, verify sales data.nn nn
· Provide strategic and timely recommendations for assigned customer(s)nn nn
· Develop sales forecasts, review stock to sales ratiosnn nn
· Provide sales trend analysis and provide insights and identify areas of opportunitynn nn
· Prepare presentations for management and business partners depicting trends, interdependencies and correlation of up and downstream impacts on customer experience.nn nn Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field required.nn nn n nn nn Experience: nn nn
· 2-4 years of related work experience, preferably within a large Retail organization.

Data analysts and/or Excel advanced users with macros writing experience are encouraged to apply.nn nn nn nn Field of Expertise: nn nn nn nnRetail, Grocery, Purchasing, Analysisnn nn nn nn Skills: nn nn
· Excel VBA writing (not just recording) knowledge and expertise.

· Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to work both crossnn nnfunctionally through internal departments and the customer(s).

Ability to communicatenn nncomplex ideas to internal and external clients in Spanish and English.nn nn
· Proven analytical skills and an aptitude for translating data into actionable,nn nnunderstandable analysis, reports and presentations.nn nn
· Ability to solve problems analytically and create actionable recommendations throughnn nnthe analysis of customer level data.nn nn
· Progressive thinker capable of extending or enhancing the existing set of analyticalnn nnofferingsnn nn
· Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (including but not limited to Excel, Access, Word andnn nnPower Point).

Familiarity with Business Objects, Prophix or other Query tools a plus.

· Ability to drive initiatives and develop strong working relationships with both thenn nninternal sales team and the customer(s).nn nn nn
