From lively dinner parties to intimate date nights, holiday feasts and corporate grazings, we cater delicious gatharings of all shapes and sizes.  Gathar is a fast-growth startup, on a mission to change the way the world gathers.

Since launching in 2018, we’ve served up delicious dining experiences to over 25,000 happy diners (and counting!), thanks to a growing community of over 180 passionate chefs, cooks, caterers, and grazing stylists (Culinarians) across Australia.

But we are just getting started.  In 2022, Gathar is expanding to the US, launching in the LA region in June.

Alongside our US co-founder, Michelin-starred chef and restaurateur Curtis Stone, we are thrilled to bring the Gathar goodness stateside!  About the Role We’re on the hunt for a customer care superstar to join our growing food-tech startup, as part of our foundation team in Los Angeles.

This exciting new role will see you joining our small but mighty global team.

With the support of our Head of Customer Care and wider sales team, you will be responsible for meeting (and smashing!) our monthly sales targets.  You’ll spend your days focussing on converting enquiries into paid bookings and ensuring we deliver exceptional customer care through every interaction, resulting in five-star dining experiences for our customers.  You’ll also be onboarding our amazing Culinarians (cooks, chefs and grazing stylists) and working with our Head of Growth (USA) to launch Gathar into the US market.

Your Responsibilities  Manage Bookings:
• Answer inbound and make outbound calls and emails for enquiries to book our delicious private catering experiences
• Manage a pipeline of enquiries from cold through to completed bookings, using a CRM / the Gathar platform to keep track of and maintain accurate records
• Understand customer needs and match them with the perfect Culinarian to create a 5-star gatharing for their special occasion or event
• Contribute creative ideas to our menus, marketing, and operations as we continue to grow the Gathar goodness Culinarian Community: 
• Recruit and onboard Culinarians (cooks, chefs and grazing stylists) onto the Gathar platform and provide ongoing support   Your Requirements
• 3+ years in a customer care role
• Proven ability to meet sales targets month-on-month
• Superb communications, admin, and task management skills
• A positive, can-do attitude and high degree of self-motivation
• A confident and friendly phone manner and genuine love for delivering amazing customer experiences What’s on Offer
