Cognizant is seeking a strong CMDB Analyst for an immediate need.
This is a client-facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers.
Job Description : Identifies improvement opportunities within the department Identifies and fulfills specific training needs within the department Assists to communicate changes to the Process within the department and promotes use of the changed process Responsible for the CIs defined within their area of scope Work with the Configuration Mgmt.
Manager to ensure the process executed properly in their area of scope Records and maintains for the CMDB data within their area of scope, under the approval of the Configuration Mgmt.
Steward Assists the Process Manager with audits and report generation Validate accuracy of CMDB data and report discrepancies Ensures the CMDB is updated upon successful change implementation Assists in executing configuration audits Responsible for remediating audit exceptions within their area of scope Act as a champion to promote awareness and acceptance of the greater SACM process in their area of scope ***Cognizant is recognized as a Military Friendly Employer and is a coalition member of the Veteran Jobs Mission.
