Blue Heron Research Partners is looking for a driven and enthusiastic Business Development Assistant to join our Business Development team.
This individual will be supporting and working alongside senior team members to drive opportunities from start to finish.
The successful candidate will build a strong foundation in business acumen, deepen their understanding of the sales process, and develop lead generation skills.

What you’ll do: Support the BD team members with client relationship building and management Develop a strong understanding of our product offering and be able to answer detailed client inquiries on our methodologies.
Assist in market research projects to aid the development of sales efforts and strategies Research and gather information on targeted companies or qualified leads, identify appropriate contacts, and identify opportunities in order to drive forward the sales process Monitor industry news and make introductions to key decision makers at hedge funds and private equity firms.
Prospect and schedule appointments for introductory conversations Prepare content and assist on client presentations and documentation Responsible for coordination of appointments by preparing and distributing materials and managing logistics of client meetings Maintain accurate records in the CRM system by logging all client contact information and communications within the system and other contracts and information as required Work closely with the team to ensure projects are prioritized and fulfilled in a timely manner Who you are: You are experienced in communicating effectively and building relationships quickly over the phone and face-to-face.
You thrive handling multiple projects where you can utilize your time management skills You possess excellent research and investigative abilities using the Internet and media You are self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently and in a team You are looking to build a career within a sales or sales support role Hold a bachelor’s degree Experience in prospecting and understanding the investment due diligence process is a plus, but not required What the opportunity offers: Network: A unique chance to develop relationships with some of the largest and most sophisticated investors in the world.
