California Code Check (“CCC”) is currently seeking an experienced Building Inspector with jurisdictional experience for a position within the County of Los Angeles area.
CCC is a privately owned company providing professional Building and Safety consulting services to Cities and Counties to verify conformance with California Building Codes.
EDUCATION:
Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in all types of jurisdictional building inspection.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATION:
A current certification as an ICC Building Inspector is required.
A CA Driver’s License is required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Perform field inspections during various stages of construction
Have a comprehensive understanding of applicable building codes
Read and examine plans and specifications
Establish and maintain quality working relationships with everyone involved
Report violations and maintain files/records
Perform other related duties as required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
