personal injury/wrongful death/product liability firm in Los Angeles immediately is seeking an experienced attorney for its Mass Tort Department.
Responsibilities ?
Expert work up, including preparation for depositions ?
Research of novel and complex legal issues ?
Drafting and responding to discovery ?
Drafting complaints, motions, jury instructions, briefs etc.
?
Develop litigation strategy in partnership with Senior Partners ?
Arguing motions in open court Requirements: ?
Experienced attorney (10+ years) with a strong background in mass tort litigation ?
Superior drafting and research skills ?
Scientific background is a plus ?
Ability to work independently/proactively while also being able to contribute to a team ?
Civil trial experience ?
Energetic, great attitude, and pride in excellent work product ?
Excellent organizational skills ?
Ability to handle multiple tasks at once, follow through, and meet deadlines ?
