Accounts Receivable

Accounts Receivable processs payments to customers accounts, takes appropriate action on overdue payments, and maintain records and deposits. As with all positions within the dealership, Account Receivable is expected to uphold the highest ethical standards. The following duties for the position listed shall include but not be limited to; ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSReceiving all payments and receipts on a daily basis from the Sales, Service, and Parts departments, recording every transaction.Processing credit card charges daily and preparing cash deposits.Working with customers to reconcile any accounts and working with collection agencies, if necessary to obtain overdue payments.Daily bank deposits and maintaining petty cash system.Post and reconcile batches.Ability to meet deadlines.Daily entriesScanning and FilingAccounts payables and Accounts ReceivablesQuick book or similar software experienceAuto or Powersports experience a plusAbide by all dealership policies pertaining to the department including general housekeeping.Follow company dress codes and be well groomed at all times.Any other specific duties deemed necessary for the overall success of the department and the dealership as a whole.Maintain a positive working relationship with all other managers, employees and departments NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSStrong background in the motorsports industry.Computer literacy.Prior accounts payable experience is preferred.Minimum 2+ motorsports industry experience. Additionally, have strong mathematics, customer service and organizational skills, economics and accounting.College degree or equivalent.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, or the equivalent, is expected and familiarity with additional accounting software programs is valued.Evaluating information to determine compliance.Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and act tactically.Highly organized with ability to multi-task across multiple projects; excellent project management skills and attention to detail.Require strong, excellent verbal & communication skills todeal with customers, employees, and vendor.Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environment with multiple strict deadlines.Expert software skills including MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong background in business, mathematics, & marketing.Thisposition reports directly to the Office Manager/Controller A lot of growing opportunities in our Admin department as a Group.
