VP Product Core Ticketing

THE JOB We are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial Vice President to drive product strategy and execution within the Core Ticketing product suite.

This role would be responsible for the holistic vision of Core Ticketing which manages the underlying ticketing systems that power both Enterprise (client facing) and Marketplace (fan facing) businesses.

Specifically, the responsibility is to build and manage a multi-year plan to modernize these systems, requiring both a deep understanding of the technology and the ability to coordination across the organization.

This position has a high level of visibility so you will need to be able to communicate clearly and compellingly at all levels of the company.

Through your leadership, you will develop thoughtful and innovative solutions to complex problems while inspiring stakeholders.

You should have a positive attitude and strong work ethic and be comfortable adapting and iterating quickly.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Set and drive strategy while also rolling up your sleeves and providing detailed guidance on individual projects Partner closely with Engineering, Business Owners and other internal teams to create, drive and deliver an innovative, compelling product experience Use market research and in-depth knowledge of competitors and fan and client pain points to define a vision, strategy and roadmap Develop outstanding strategic relationships with internal and external partners and business teams in order to collaborate on product software development and business processes Work with engineers and cutting-edge technologies
TECHNICAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
Software product management experience for innovative software products Experience managing modernization of legacy ticketing systems Knowledge of software development practices and experience crafting epics and user stories 7+ years of experience in product management or similar positions Bachelor’s Degree in related field, Master’s degree preferred

Ability to communicate and evangelize across both internal and external stakeholders Ability to work collaboratively with other products teams to understand, help define and move forward initiatives and features to accomplish shared objectives Ability to articulate longer-term future vision and break the vision into clearly understood milestones which deliver discrete value in the walk to the future vision Innovative thinker, collaborative and comfortable in solving ambiguous challenges Experience leading, mentoring and growing teams
