ABM industries is now hiring for aFulltime (MST) Maintenance Service Technician (MST) in Troy, NY.WILLING TO TRAIN THE RIGHT MOTIVATED CANDIDATE ON ALL ASPECTS OF THE JOBThe MST will Support all facilities related equipment and support to the MST group and cleaning staff.
WILL TRAIN on the execution of preventive maintenance tasks and general repairs of facilities equipment.
Learn the operation and purpose for each piece of equipment on site to efficiently troubleshoot the equipment or process.
Equipment to include: Steam Boilers/Clean Steam System/Hot Water Boilers Humidification/Dehumidification systems Chilled Water System/Cooling Towers/Pumps All air handling equipment/Exhaust Systems Process Vacuum System/Lab Waste System/Process Water System All Cleanroom support equipment as well as Plant DI Water System and Waste Water Systems, Air Compressors and Fire Sprinkler Systems.
Execute work in a safe manner; follow safety protocols and procedures.
Wear required PPE.
Follow all LOTO requirements.
Must provide coverage when required for MST vacation or absence.
Will have the ability to learn electronic control systems.
Have good mechanical skills to perform equipment preventative maintenance tasks, and troubleshoot water pumps, vacuum pumps, exhaust fans, air compressors, and any other facilities related equipment.
Participate in all required training to the MST Group weekly.
Maintain the MST Work Calendar.
Assure all PMs that are assigned to the MST group are safely completed in a timely manner, assist personnel on PM tasks as required to assure quality of work performed.
Review all scheduled PM tasks.
A criminal background check, results of which are not necessarily a bar to employment and a drug screen are required .
MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ROTATING SHIFTS, INCLUDING NIGHTS, WEEKENDS, HOLIDAYS AND OVERTIME.
