Senior Associate, Marketing (Remote Opportunity)

This critical position is responsible for working as part of a team to develop and execute the U.S.

healthcare provider (HCP) marketing plans and programs for Repatha a high priority brand for Amgen.

This position will have the responsibility of collaborating on multiple initiatives from concept through execution to help drive new capabilities for brand success today and into the future.

The Senior Marketing Associate will be responsible for the project management, implementation, analysis (including measurement and reporting) of a variety of strategies, tactics, and educational activities geared towards Healthcare professionals, including but not limited to: sales materials, congress sponsorships, samples, and peer-to-peer programs.

This position will not be responsible for management of direct reports.

However, it will require significant agency management and cross-functional team leadership.

Specific responsibilities will include:

Project management for cross-functional workstreams
Manage REPATHA brand budgets and closely monitor performance, ensuring cost-effective delivery of all
Liaise with supply chain, outside vendors and agencies to develop and execute projects

Commit to continuous improvement and share best practices across the organization

Collaborate with key partners including: Consumer & Digital Marketing, Sales, Access, and Corporate

Write communications, partner with operational teams and market research (CS&A) to ensure synergy with programming across all customers

Manage the internal legal, regulatory, and medical review and approval of new materials to enable responsible and compliant consumer communications

Support field sales team to meet brand objectives and drive increasing adoption of new patients

Domestic travel up to 15%.

Basic Qualifications:

Masters degree OR Bachelors degree and 2 years of marketing and/or sales experience OR Associates degree and 6 years of marketing and/or sales experience OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of marketing and/or sales experience

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of marketing experience.

Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or medical sales preferred

Understanding of Healthcare Industry

Demonstrated strength in project management, detail oriented and results-driven with solution-oriented mentality.

Creative and innovative, while also possessing analytical problem-solving skills.

Experience working with agencies and publishers to develop and produce engaging creative and media plans.

Strong bias for action and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to exercise strong judgment and live up to the highest ethical standards.

Excellent communication skills and self-awareness of leadership style.

Ability to build productive partnerships and collaborate effectively in a matrix organization.

Proactive, results-oriented self-starter motivated by a challenging task.
