Sales Representative
Utility Sub-metering company is currently seeking a full-time in-house Sales Representative located in Los Angeles, CA.
This role is ideal for someone sales-minded who is looking for a career path that offers growth in sales, marketing and account management. As an inside sales representative, your main area of focus will be in developing customer relationships, selling sub-metering equipment and services to prospective customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Working closely with engineering department to prepare sales quotes for customer
- Creating budgets based on material needed for projects
- Purchasing equipment from various suppliers
- Project management of approved quotes, including scheduling and documentation
- Support potential customer inquiries, needs and concerns
- Advise customers about company’s products and services
- Meet sales objectives
- Maintain active and updated records on the Sales Pipeline regarding job status
- Promote marketing and sales activities to execute sales, including but not limited to trade shows
Requirements for this position include:
- 2+ years of sales experience
- Outgoing personality with the ability to talk to various customers, must be sales strategic and have high energy
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
- Good at establishing relationships and demonstrated success in sales
- Strong planning and organizational along with excellent interpersonal, written/oral communication and presentation skills, including full competence with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)
- Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage tasks effectively
- Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Demonstrated ability to excel in a hands-on, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
- Highly adaptable & resourceful
- Effective problem solver
- QuickBooks knowledge is a plus
- Sub-metering and or Utility Billing knowledge is a plus
- Project Management and Coordinating is a plus
Compensation: Depends on Experience
