Marketing Specialist

This position will oversee the planning, scheduling, and internal communications of multi-channel marketing materials including direct mail, email, website, social, online, in-branch collateral, and other.

This person is expected to own portions of the marketing calendar, expense tracking, and coordination of marketing projects including the tracking of results.

Responsible for assisting the department stakeholders on all project aspects and elements including project organization and management, clear status updates, budget updates and timelines, project briefs, design options, copy, lists, results expectations, resource requirements.

A successful candidate will be liaison between Marketing and internal key stakeholders including lending, retail branches, call center, Analytics, and project management teams.

This key function provides clear, consistent two-way internal communications to ensure that all stakeholders’ needs are understood and are informed on all aspects of Marketing projects that impact their areas.

Responsibilities Assists in organizing marketing campaign briefs and project mgt plans that include: campaign purpose/objective, internal stakeholders, target audience, list select, media channels, touch points, measurements, testing, drop dates, key project milestones, resources, budget, expected results.

Coordinate schedules, development, and communication of marketing materials for campaigns/projects including: design, copy, layout, ready for print and digital output.

Updates and monitors social media resources.

Provides clear, accurate, and transparent project updates via centralized marketing calendar with internal key project stakeholders.

Stay abreast of certifications and best practices related to the interplay of marketing, marketing goals, sales enablement, and sales goals as they relate to delivery channels and lead nurturing.

Master CRM, BI, and analytics tools in an effort to add color to data, present hypothesis on trends – test various content delivery channels – establishing which positively impact organizational KPIs.

Coordinates and assists with external resources to ensure successful project/campaign launch including: contractors, agencies, print vendors, etc.

Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing preferred
● High level aptitude to be able to take ambiguous information and form them into cogent strategies, or goals.

● Working knowledge of a staple core banking system such as Jack Henry Symitar, or Fiserv DNA.

● Technical acumen to be able to discuss implementation other key departments and foresight to see down funnel activities and possible friction points.
