US Marketing and Brand Engagement Strategist

Overall accountabilities

This role will focus on supporting all aspects of marketing and recruiting students for Kings Premium Universities (KPU).

Reporting to the Vice President of Recruitment for KPU, the role’s objective is to help develop marketing plans, strategize communication effectively, demonstrate a good knowledge of social media platforms as business tools, grow brand reach and engage working as part of a wider international team, and support growth in enrollment within the US.

Specific accountabilities:

· Coordinate and support Central Marketing Unit’s productions of all KPU related marketing materials (Online/offline, B2B/B2C)

· Inspire, lead and manage campus-based content creators in developing compelling media messages to grow the Kings brand across social platforms.

· Lead and inspire activity and production of relevant media from Kings student ambassadors

· Assist with refreshing website content on an ongoing basis.

· Lead on the preparation of bespoke marketing tools for key academic markets and B2B clients

· Lead the development of a data resource of KPU current students and alumni to facilitate the production of documents, online materials, and digital marketing campaigns as appropriate

· Compile US academic industry statistics, conducting relevant market research projects and providing timely and efficient reports, as needed

· Assist in the creation of marketing documents related to admission criteria, such as (but not limited to) academic calendars, country-specific requirements, and partner-specific acceptance materials

· Lead social media marketing campaign objectives, in alignment with organizational strategy

· Provide outstanding account support to our US domestic partners, online recruiters and local partner schools through multiple training and relationship building activities

· Actively develop our direct US-based recruitment strategy via various recruitment channels and support enrollment growth

· Ensure content from online platforms are up to date and actively communicate with online partners

Requirements:

Key skills required:

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· 3+ years of experience in communications, journalism, digital marketing, or a related field, including a background in social media content creation across variety of platforms.

· 3+ year of international education industry or related field marketing experience preferred

· Bachelor’s degree

· High attention to detail

· Good working knowledge of creating and/or editing assets through Adobe Suite (including InDesign and Photoshop) plus Canvas

· Good judgment, discretion, and the ability to think quickly and work under pressure. Strong time-management abilities.

· Strong desire to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.

· Excellent administrative and IT skills, able to produce work fast & accurately (Microsoft Suite a must)

· Ability to travel locally and domestically and work occasionally during evenings and weekends

· Track record of delivering brand growth to agreed targets through social media platforms (Insta, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook)

· Experience working with content management systems (MODX preferred)
