This role will be based from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters.nn nn What youll do: nn nnDesign, improve, and support internal and external augmented reality platformnn nnOwn and drive high-level features from planning through implementation, be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle, and solve complex technical challengesnn nnWork across teams to understand product requirements, evaluate trade-offs, and deliver the solutions needed to build innovative productsnn nnParticipate in design and code reviewsnn nn Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: nn nnStrong JavaScript (and/or TypeScript), HTML, and CSS programming skillsnn nnKnowledge of ReactJS, AngularJS, or similar UI frameworks.nn nnKnowledge of OOP, SOLID and FPnn nnSolid understanding of object-oriented and functional programming principlesnn nnUnderstanding of domain-driven design principlesnn nnUnderstanding CQRS, GraphQL, GRPC, Web GL, Canvasnn nnProven knowledge of unit testingnn nn Minimum Qualifications: nn nnBS/BA in a technical field such as computer science or equivalent years of experiencenn nn1+ years of experience developing Front End softwarenn nn Preferred Qualifications: nn nnAdvanced degree in a related technical fieldnn nnExperience developing consumer-facing softwarenn nnExperience optimizing JavaScript performance and browser layout renderingnn nnExperience developing software systems of medium-to-large scope and complexitynn nnExperience with ReactJS, AngularJS, or similar UI frameworks.nn nnExperience working with large-scale microservices and distributed systemsnn nnExperience with end-to-end testing frameworks (cypress, puppeteer or playwright)nn nnExperience with micro Front End architecturenn nnAt Snap, we believe that having a team of diverse backgrounds and voices working together will enable us to create innovative products that improve the way people live and communicate.
