Senior Programmer

Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking a Senior Software Developerswith strong systems, software, cloud, and Agile experience to support a complex program to provide Agile development.

The successful candidate will have an opportunity to apply and grow their skillset and work with a motivated and entrepreneurial team, engage with a wide range of stakeholders, and build CGS’ capabilities by serving our clients.

Job Responsibilities

As a Sr. Software Developer, you will:

  • Participate in software programming initiatives to support innovation and enhancement, using Java, Groovy, JavaScript, GoLang, Python, REST, JSON
  • Coordinate closely with team members, Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure User Story alignment and implementation to customer use cases
  • Support the Agile software development lifecycle following Program SAFe practices
  • Document and Perform systems software development, including deployment of build artifacts across different environments

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field to the position and 5+ years of experience
  • Master’s degree in a related field to the position or 3+ years of experience
  • Strong Knowledge of REST, JSON
  • Experience using one of more of the following: Java, Groovy, JavaScript, GoLang, Python
  • Proficient with common Agile practices, service-orientated environments, and development practices

Clearance/Citizenship

  • Candidate must be US Citizen.
