This is a retained search for our client who is one of the top 5 Largest Defense and Space companies in the World with core manufacturing concentrations in defense and aerospace electronics. Its’ electronics and defense-systems units produce air-, sea-, and land-launched missiles, radar and weapons sensors and targeting systems, communication and battle-management systems, and satellite components. This position is in the Airborne Radar, GPS, Precision approach radar systems area. If you have are a high Level 2 up to a Level 5 candidate with 3-14 years of experience in the following areas our client would have an interest in you as our candidate. We have several openings at any of all of these levels. Required Skills: • Minimum of 3- 10 years’ experience developing software utilizing C, C++, or related tools/languages • Experience developing embedded software for radar applications • Experience developing on Red Hat Linux or equivalent OS • Experience with Coverity or LDRA or other equivalent static analysis tools • Experience with Containerization and Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) • Hardware / software integration experience • Experience in every phase of the software development life-cycle • Strong knowledge of Software Development Processes U.S. Citizenship status is required, as this position needs an active DoD SECRET or higher clearance as of day one of employment Desired Skills: • The candidate will have experience with various radar processor subsystems including radar SW and/or hardware • Rapid development and integration of radar modes • Use of industry-standard hardware, middleware and development tools to streamline development and integration • Utilizing COTS tools on radar systems to create portable, extensibility secure systems • Test and integration of radar systems with Man-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-loop systems • Experience with Continuous Integration methodologies Experience developing on ARM architecture or GPU processor If you are in the Aerospace and Defense industry in any facet we welcome your resume as we have about 80 retained openings across dozens of job requisitions and we can not post all of the jobs to this platform.
