Motion Picture Industry Pension & Health Plans (MPI) has an immediate opportunity for a senior level Talent Acquisition Specialist to join a great HR team.
Your experience with full life-cycle recruiting, sourcing passive candidates, screening administrative, IT, call center, accounting and healthcare related support positions, and in-house talent acquisition will help you to be successful in this role.
Your contributions will add value to creating a high touch, positive applicant experience.
Key responsibilities include: Serving as primary recruiter for the sourcing of talent in the organization Maintaining an active pipeline of qualified candidates to ensure staffing needs are met timely Recruiting for a variety of career levels and departments throughout the organization Craft compelling online job postings to increase applicant flow Ensure timely communication with managers and candidates to support a positive, high touch applicant experience Ensure consistency in hiring practices such as the posting of positions, assessments, hiring criteria, and communications Make recommendations to improve the talent acquisition function such as appropriate applicant assessment tools, job boards, career fairs, etc.
Providing HR support in other areas as needed Qualifications: Five years’ recruiting experience that includes sourcing, assessing, screening, and placing candidates in a corporate work environment, preferably as an in-house recruiter Two years’ experience sourcing technology candidates preferred Experience with ATS; Ceridian experience a plus Experience in HR disciplines beyond talent acquisition preferred Intermediate proficiency with MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Self-motivated, team player, who takes initiative, yet is flexible and thrives in a fast-paced, team environment Excellent written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills.
