We are based in Austin, TX but take pride in providing aluminum can packaging solutions to manufacturers worldwide through our mobile canning services, canning machine equipment, packaging supply distribution efforts, and unparalleled customer service.

Reporting to the Lead Talent Acquisition Recruiter, you will be a part of a small, dedicated, and dynamic team responsible for meeting American Canning’s hiring goals by acquiring talented and qualified candidates for our rapidly growing company.

Passionate about the art and science of recruiting, successful candidates will build strong relationships and deliver exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences.

With a commitment to continuous learning, this role will seek to streamline and improve processes, maximize existing tools and experiment with new ways of reaching candidates.

Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria, and then assist with the advertisement processes.

Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.

Screen applications and selects qualified candidates.

Schedule interviews; oversee preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.

Collaborate with the hiring managers, Lead Talent Acquisition Recruiter and Chief People Officer during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.

Build networks to find qualified passive candidates and coordinate influential candidate relationships during the selection process.

Provide hiring managers with a qualified slate of candidates and guides both candidates and hiring managers through the hiring process.

Communicate recruiting successes and challenges to internal stakeholders regularly.

Partner to build, drive and participate in recruiting events IE: Virtual career fairs, college career fairs, diversity events and more.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

Perform other duties as assigned.What do we expect?
