Payroll Coordinator

FuseFX is seeking a Payroll Coordinator responsible for global payroll administration and support. This individual will be detail orientated with strong communication skills who will handle timesheets, assist with questions and process payroll for all offices. This position reports to the Human Resources Manager in Los Angeles.

FuseFX is an award-winning Visual Effects Studio providing visual effects services for episodic television, feature films, commercials, virtual productions, and VR. Founded in 2006, the company employs 800+ personnel across eight studio locations and three brands. Our flagship studio is in Los Angeles, CA, with locations in New York City, Vancouver, BC., and Atlanta. Our Montreal, Toronto, and Bogota studios are serviced by FOLKS VFX, who joined FuseFX in 2020. The Adelaide, Australia studio is serviced by Rising Sun Pictures, who joined FuseFX in 2021.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collects and tracks timesheets
  • Audits timesheets for discrepancies and logging errors
  • Assists with employee questions related to payroll
  • Reviews and approves Contractor invoices
  • Completes 401k and H.S.A. bi-weekly contribution processing
  • Prepares and distributes bi-weekly utilization reports
  • Audit time off balances and ensures employees requests are within balances
  • Prepares bi-weekly payroll for global offices
  • Maintains payroll information in ADP Workforce Now
  • Maintains confidentiality

Traits of a Successful Payroll Assistant

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Excel proficiency preferred
  • ADP Workforce Now experience preferred
  • Must possess strong attention to detail
  • Strong ability to meet deadlines
  • Verbal and written communication should be timely and professional
  • Must be reliable and dependable

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
