An established Senior Living Community developing company is seeking a Payroll specialist to join their growing team.
The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of the company’s payroll.
We are seeking someone that is self-motivated, flexible, deadline-oriented, and able to complete tasks with limited supervision.
This is a hybrid position with benefits that include medical, dental, vision, PTO and sick days.
Responsibilities Payroll processing of multi-state bi-weekly payroll of 2000 employees Process payroll transactions for new hires, terminations, employee changes, timesheets and wage garnishments and ensure compliance with tax jurisdictions and policy Display knowledge of appropriate tax laws, payroll deductions and tax rates Respond to employee and internal teams when there are payroll inquiries including and not limited to employee verifications, pay details, vacation accruals, tax withholdings, etc.
in a timely manner Perform research when necessary to ensure compliance with changes in regulations Requirements Minimum 5-7 years of multi-state payroll processing experience with high employee volume Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business or accounting preferred Knowledge of federal and state wage and tax laws, FLSA and overtime requirements Multitasks in a fast-paced environment ZR hotjobs
