Housekeeping – Minibar Attendant – Full Time

Position Summary

The primary role of a Mini Bar Attendant is to effectively maintain the guest room mini bars. Their job duties require style and service attributes that are key to creating a positive guest experience.

Pay rate: $19.00 – $22.00 hourly

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service in an efficient manner.
  • Communicate all guest requests or charge discrepancies to an appropriate supervisor in a timely and professional manner.
  • Use proper etiquette and language in all interactions with guests.
  • Efficiently maintain inventory of mini-bar supplies of all guest rooms, occupied and not occupied.
  • Accurately record used/missing items from mini-bar and enter this information into the guest phone according to proper procedure for proper billing.
  • Ensure mini bars are defrosted, clean and in good state of repair at all times.
  • Ensure mini bar product is fresh and has not exceeded its expiration date.
  • Maintain proper levels of supplies and order appropriately if necessary according to Room Service Ordering SOP.
  • Maintain cleanliness of Mini Bar areas, ensure work area is orderly and properly stocked.
  • Adhere to DND (Do Not Disturb) processes and procedures.
  • Maintain appearance and uniform standards.
  • Develop and maintain positive communication and teamwork with all co-workers and supervisors.
  • Handle all guest service issues in an immediate and professional manner.
  • Follow all policies and procedures put forth by the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Serv Safe Food Handler
