Medline Industries, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Clinic Nurse Educator for the Clinical Services Division. This road warrior position will provide superior support to both our internal and external customers. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a valid RN license and a desire to educate and influence change. In addition to flexibility and critical thinking skills, you must have a %26ldquo;roll-up your sleeves%26rdquo; attitude.
This is a virtual position. Individual needs to be based in the Los Angeles or Southern CA area.
The challenging responsibilities of the position include:
- Demonstrates quality nursing care, problem solving skills, effective use of resources, collaboration with other health professionals, and professional standards
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with key accounts RVP%26rsquo;s and senior clinical staff
- Develop customer retention service proposal through consultation with key clients
- Develop account specific educational webinars for national and regional accounts
- Manage national account product formulary and introduce new technologies to improve margins
- Provide on-site education and clinical support on clinical programs, products and services
- Identifies problem areas and recommends changes and solutions
- Evaluates policies and procedures related to patient care in specialty area
- May visit patients and discusses specific problems with assigned nurses and physicians
- Participate with development, revision, and implementation of patient education programs, materials, and resources in specialty area
- Recommends formal educational programs to meet staff needs
- Provides, coordinates, and teaches workshops and classes on continence management, skin care and DVT products
- Studies changes in specialty area and seeks additional knowledge on unusual problems and conditions, new treatments, and medications
- Supports sales force during clinical product evaluations and conversions
- Represents Medline Clinical Services Division by making presentations and participating in forums, committees, and professional associations
- Contributes to the Division’s culture and environment by providing positive teamwork and collaboration

The required skills for this position are:
- Ability to travel 90% regionally and nationwide
- Valid RN license
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum three years direct bedside nursing experience preferred
- Intermediate %26ldquo;hands-on%26rdquo; experience with incontinence products a plus, long term or acute care experience highly preferred
- Some clinical administration experience a plus
- Demonstrated presentation experience
- Excellent ability to build rapport quickly
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
