Our digital strategy will improve experiences from product development to market, and as a Data Architect, you’ll be at the heart of this business wide change.The Data Architect role can either be fully remote or based in Richmond, VA.What you’ll be doing:
• Work cross functionally with different partners on designing and implementing data strategy framework for manufacturing domain.

This will include different aspects of data strategy like Data Governance, Data Quality and Data Architecture.
• Consult with internal clients to understand critical data sources and data elements required to enable specific business use cases in manufacturing
• Design and implement repeatable processes for measuring data quality and readiness aligned with specific business use cases
• Work with key partners to define and maintain robust data quality metrics and business metrics for manufacturing data
• Work closely with platform architecture team and recommend solutions to improve and enhance current data architecture focused on extracting data from manufacturing systems
• Design conceptual data models for optimal integration, flexibility, and scalability to meet a variety of business use cases in manufacturing
• Fuse technical knowledge with subject matter expertise to translate complex business questions into impactful solutions
• Collaborate with other team members on activating Data Governance in manufacturing business function
• Collaborate and maintain positive relationships with diverse partner groups in a rapidly changing environment, to prioritize and deliver solutions that are cost-efficient, timely and effectiveWhat we want you to have:
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Analytics, Computer Science or Applied Mathematics
• At least 5 years of relevant experience designing and implementing data strategy and architecture
• Solid understanding of manufacturing business processes and how they translate into effective data strategy
• Hands on experience with Data Quality technology platforms like Informatica(preferred)
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Databricks platform
• Strong working knowledge of programming languages like SQL, Python
• Experience of working in Agile environment
• Proven track record of developing creative methods to identify business opportunities
• Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with technical and non-technical partners
• Limited domestic travel may be requiredAlongside the opportunity to develop and refine your skills, you’ll receive an excellent compensation package.
