Job Summary/Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you will leverage your attention to detail and interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional projects on time and on budget. You will direct resources to ensure that the work process flows smoothly and act as the leader between the client and the inter-disciplinary team. In this role, you will provide leadership to the client, user groups (where applicable), and team by communicating project objectives, contract scope, terms, and schedule.
What you will do:
In partnership with the Project Director and/or Project Architect, you will lead a team, or multiple teams in the delivery of a wide range of projects
Prepare schedules, contracts, and manage internal accounting and reporting
Oversee the work of more junior designers and architects
Manage client, team, and project coordination through all phases
Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree in Architecture plus a minimum of six (6+) years of related experience managing multidisciplinary projects, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Due to the nature of this work, US Citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications
Professional Bachelors degree in Architecture (BArch) or Bachelor of Science in Architecture + Masters degree in Architecture with 15+ years of relevant experience in design management and resolving issues, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Experience negotiating project scope, fees, managing project financial performance, and ensuring fiscal responsibility for projects through the design process
Registered Architect and/or Professional Engineer
Revit and BIM experience as well as experience in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Microsoft Office
Support Federal projects within the last 10 years through all phases of design and construction
DoD and Federal Civilian experience
Experience on Federal Design Build projects or P-3
Ability to be client facing and lead client discussion
