Advanced Infrastructure Design, Inc. (AID): Project Coordinator

This is a full-time position with full benefits for a qualified, Project Coordinator.

The candidate should have a B.S.

degree (or higher) in Business, Engineering or a related field, with knowledge of civil engineering project life cycles and extensive experience with scheduling and logistical coordination.

He/she should also have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to quickly identify and address both company and client needs in a timely fashion.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who will maintain a highly disciplined approach to the job.

The primary responsibilities will include but not limited to creating and maintaining a schedule for the projects that they support.

This responsibility includes, but not limited to, the development and analysis of project schedules, providing regular schedule updates, and analyzing the impact of such activities and methodologies.

In addition to monitoring project plans, and timelines, the Project Coordinator will also monitor staff work hours/utilization, equipment resource utilization, budgets, expenditures, as well as organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, if needed.

The Project Coordinator will work closely with, Practice Area Leads, Project Managers, Senior Engineers, and Field Operations Services to schedule and coordinate the execution of projects within the desired timelines efficiently and effectively.

The pay range for this position is $55,000 to $77,000 per year and will be competitive and commensurate with qualification and the applicant’s level of relevant experience.Responsibilities: Meet with various project stakeholders to gain familiarity with project types, scope, sequence of work activities and other requirements.

Create and update schedule templates for each practice area depending on project type and scope.

Contribute to the development of standards of procedure for initiating/setting up, scheduling and monitoring projects within project management tool.

Meet with Practice Area Leads, Project Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure proper planning, strategies, and task sequences prior to project commencement.

Systematically assign and schedule resources to tasks and subtasks to efficiently meet planned timelines, accounting for dependencies within and across projects.

Monitor projects and report project performance periodically, while meeting with stakeholders to address and resolve any issues.-Support project team by assisting with project-related administrative tasks, including but not limited to coordination, reporting, and document management.

Qualifications & Requirements B.S.

or higher degree in Business, Engineering or a related field.

A combination of relevant training and/or extensive project scheduling experience will also be considered Experience working in the Engineering industry.

Work experience with MS Project or similar project management software.-Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.

Strong analytical, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Experience working with cross-functional teams.-The ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.

Proficiency in oral and written communications.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
