You have the chance to work on projects with a dynamic team that focus on the design of electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems for our clients facilities.

This position will primarily work in direct coordination with our client.

The Electrical Designer will be responsible for performing routine tasks using a computer for drafting and design applications.

Responsibilities: Responsible for producing technical plans, specifications, drawings, and models that meet our specifications and client needs.Work independently (with limited technical guidance), performs electrical design functions and calculations in branch circuit design, motor feeder design, sizing of over current protection, raceway fill, as well as other aspects of compliant electrical code designs with direction from lead engineer or designers.Perform on-site field verification of existing systems.Interface with lead Engineer or Designer to prepare complete construction drawings.Coordinate with other disciplines throughout design phase of projects with direction from lead Engineer or Designer.

Qualifications: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent with demonstrated experience in Electrical Design.Demonstrated experience with Revit and AutoCAD is required.Exposure/knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.Ability to use standard business software, such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), PDF markup software (Bluebeam, Acrobat, etc.)
