Associate Creative Director As an Associate Creative Director, you are the driving force behind all things creative.

The Associate Creative Director is responsible for setting the creative tone at Optimist, and it is our expectation that you represent Optimist’s culture and standards across departments and disciplines.
The ideal candidate can ideate and execute effective design solutions and achieve clients’ goals while maintaining our standards of creative excellence, timeliness, and profitability.
Responsibilities: Set the overall creative vision and drive concepts to create stellar, innovative interactive work Concept, develop, manage and inspire top-level creative strategy to produce exceptional visual experiences Assist with the development of creative briefs to ensure that strategy and creative output are aligned Translate marketing objectives into creative tactics while constantly assessing and resolving complex creative challenges Work cross-functionally with account, design, production, and other teams to optimize the creative process Assign and manage tasks to ensure that the creative is on-brief and achieve set goals Provide guidance on presentation and communication abilities at all levels to both internal and external client organizations Prioritize work and resources across engagements based on short and long term needs Produce intelligent and on-strategy creative solutions that reflect brand personality Present dynamic, engaging, and clear plans internally and with clients Anticipate change and prepare the team to roll with them, whether timelines, budget, and/or availabilities change to adapt to client or team needs Help Optimist and the creative team continue to build a culture that defines teamwork by bringing solutions first Remain current and communicates industry trends and techniques Mentor, manage, and build creative talent so that the company is continually attracting and retaining top-level talent Job Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in a creative industry, experiential event agency experience is preferred Experience managing, leading, training, and mentoring teams Knowledge of the fundamentals in interaction design, digital marketing, brand development, and the creative process Intimate understanding of design, copy and web best practices/guidelines Confident leadership, communication, and organizational skills Exemplary interpersonal and analytical abilities, including interacting with clients and internal staff comparably WHO WE ARE Optimist is a collective of thinkers, makers, and doers who architect next level brand experiences.
