It’s working the warehouse and helping customers on the showroom floor.
That means:Assembling furniture/merchandise correctlyMoving furniture throughout showroom as neededHandling furniture with care and keeping things cleanTagging merchandiseEnsuring safety and safe lifting techniquesWorking with customersProcessing orders on a POS computer systemBe friendly, polite and curious to customers for merchandise pick-upAny other support needed across the warehouse, store or office including light maintenanceWho You AreExcellent customer service, communication and organizational skillsBasic math, computer and POS skills with a high degree of accuracyAble to lift 50 lbs., unassisted, moving furniture in showroom and warehouseAble to successfully complete our pre-employment background, physical and drug screeningOperating forklift & pallet jack and other power and/or hand toolsA wholehearted customer service approach with a professional and welcoming presentation.Education: High School diploma or equivalent GED, 1-3 years’ work experience in a related field, retail a plus.A family business 50+ years in the making, with +50 furniture showrooms and +700 employees across the U.S.
