Robert Half is seeking a Desktop Support Technician in Los Angeles, CA as the volume for our client has increased due to a number of projects underway for migrations/upgrades to Windows 10, One Drive, Active Directory , O365, Etc. Desktop Support Technician will handle typical tickets that can range from password resets, MS Suite, O365, Mitel phones, etc. Position is 40 hrs. a week 8-5pm weekdays!

Duties and Responsibilities

• Respond to internal tickets and coordinate with the end user and supervisor to come up with solutions to deliver a sound and stable computing resolution, providing exceptional support while demonstrating a sense of priorities.

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot PC hardware and peripherals. Maintain documented resolutions and operating procedures. Work independently in trouble-shooting problems and researching capabilities of current or proposed products.

• Create and maintain user accounts on networks and applications. Give proper permissions as established, process onboarding and offboarding of users, based on supervisory approval.

• Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations.

Job Requirements:

Desktop Support Technician Requirements:

  • 3-5 years knowledge and experience with Microsoft Active Directory environments, including OU management and security – Supporting 100+ end-users
  • 3-5 years knowledge and experience with infrastructure services including DHCP, DNS, Printer Services
  • 3-5 years experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting any or all of the following products or technologies for helpdesk,(some technologies may include: ServiceNow, Imaging, Active Directory, Office 365 , Cisco Phone systems, Intune, etc.)
  • Deskside Support: set-up of workstations, changing our peripherals – supporting a user base of 300 or more
  • Self-Management: Display a high level of independent thinking, initiative, effort and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner.
  • Customer Focus: Consistently delivers excellent customer service under pressure while quickly and effectively, resolving customer problems.
