Responsibilities

Business Development Manager will be an integral part of company’s strategic initiatives that expand the platform’s business and drive growth. Working directly with the Head of Business Development and senior leaders, the candidate will lead an array of impactful initiatives end to end: from strategic planning and analysis, presenting recommendations and requirements to the executive team, to working interdepartmentally with Product, Operations, Finance, and Development teams across the globe. This candidate will also work closely with other external company executives, management teams, potential business partners.

Ideal candidate is high-impact contributor well versed in data analysis, identifying trends, impact of different business models and experience with ecommerce infrastructure with strong business acumen and financial literacy.

Occasional domestic travel required.

Main duties include:

  • Clearly define scope of opportunities to lead strategic initiatives and support prioritizing company imperatives for opportunities and initiatives
  • In-depth evaluation of new business ventures and identify opportunities, considerations and issues, develop plans and models and execute analysis to translate data into insights for executives
  • Evaluate growth opportunities across platform and structure complex, complicated strategic challenges into actionable plan
  • Assess existing platform business, services, and products to further optimize the model and determine further growth areas
  • Perform ad hoc projects, research, draft reports and construct KPIs for various verticals
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, UX, UI, Legal, Development, and engineer teams to clearly communicate objectives and strategies to help materialize opportunities into initiatives and into end products and services

.Requirements:

Required Qualification

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience across consulting, investments, business operations, and/or business analytics
  • Experience in working across various aspects and dimensions of a business (legal, finances, sales, product, marketing, development, etc.)
  • Versatile and fast paced analyst who can pivot between strategic and operational roles as needed
  • Clearly define scope of work, opportunity, requirements, resources, and timeline
  • Ability to work with different corporate cultures

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience working in the B2B online platform
  • Understanding in SQL
  • Ability to thrive in multi-culture environments with experience working with teams overseas
