We are seeking a Full-time Customer Service Specialist to service our students over the phone/by email from our Van Nuys Corporate Office.
Student Service Administrators assist our schools with customer service functions.
They must have critical thinking, excellent communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to work with a variety of personalities, people, customers, and departments to meet deadlines.
We fully train our staff, but we can’t train personality.
We are hiring personality, and if you have it, we want to hear from you.
The ideal candidate must be service-oriented and have a positive attitude.
Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to type 35 WPM.
Experience: 2 years of customer service and administrative experience required Job responsibilities include: Administer data entry for the department Works closely with customers to discuss refunds requests.
Corresponds with customers on a daily basis.
Dispute chargebacks and follow up with merchant services when needed.
Maintain knowledge of all products and services to better serve each student.
Upkeep of student records through Customer Management System (CMS).
Be in constant communication with multiple customers and departments via e-mail or phone.
Address student concerns, questions, and or conflicts over the phone.
Ensure student satisfaction by providing quality customer service.
Must possess excellent customer services, communication, writing, typing, problem solving and excel skills.

Compensation: $17.50 per hour Spanish speaking preferred.
