Senior Manager of Construction Audit

TEAM UP WITH US! The Senior Manager of Construction Audit is responsible for growing, managing and overseeing the Advisory Services construction audit service line within the designated geo, reporting to the Partner responsible for leading Construction Audit and Advisory Services and the Managing Director. This will include working with the Partner, Managing Director and geo leaders to identify prospective clients and conduct business development activities to grow and develop client relationships; managing multiple client relationships and projects, proactively managing client and staff expectations, resolving issues.. The Senior Manager is responsible for leadership and management of the practice within the designated geo by supervising and guiding team members, managing schedules and productivity, mentoring and developing personnel, project and practice profitability, and billing and collections.
DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES? Work with the Partner over Construction Audit & Advisory as well as geo leaders to develop and execute a go-to-market plan for Construction Audit and Advisory services within the designated geo.
Coordinate with the Construction Audit & Advisory Partner and other team members to develop and execute and overall go-to-market plan for construction audit and advisory services.
Responsible for overall success of Construction Audit & Advisory within the designated geo.
Work with the Partner, Managing Director and geo leaders to identify prospective clients and conduct business development activities to grow and develop client relationships.
Become a trusted advisor by striving to enhance the relationship with the customer, not just with technical proficiency, but also with relationship management
Focused on ensuring client project scope and objectives are well defined, clearly understood, and achieved.
Perform periodic onsite assessments and assurance reviews regarding the physical construction, compliance with organizational policies and procedures, and the effectiveness of controls
Perform new customer proposal coordination, planning, and proposal development
Perform in-process and closeout transactional cost and billing reviews
Lead, manage and oversee multiple client relationships and projects, proactively managing expectations, resolving issues, and growing the strength of the relationship
Lead client engagements from the beginning to completion including planning, scheduling, executing, and completing projects
Manage timely completion of projects to ensure high quality and accurate work through review, oversight and direction of work and supporting work papers
Discuss and validate issues identified during the project with team and client management. Conduct root cause analysis and develop proactive recommendations
Strong knowledge of construction delivery methods, procurement, contracting, and management processes, as well as contract types, incentive strategies, labor rate/ vehicle allowances and cost buildup techniques, and equipment pricing
Evaluate and recommend opportunities for cost savings and program improvement
BUT WAIT… THERE’S MORE! BA/BS or MBA degree from an accredited college/university in Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, Project Management or a related field
10+years of relevant experience in construction management, project management, , construction audit, construction accounting, or construction project consulting
CCA, CCP, PMP or other relevant certifications preferred
Have a background in some construction management software programs or the ability to learn
