ATTENTION: We are actively hiring during the COVID-19 outbreak through safe hiring procedures.Hiring: Front Office ReceptionistLocation: Los Angeles, CASalary: $22.60/hr.Starting: ImmediatelyShift: Full TimeFor Immediate Consideration, Send Your Resume to Renee.Watkins@abm.comJob Description:General Responsibilities Greets vendors, customers, job applicants and other visitors, and arranges for transportation services, when needed.Essential FunctionsOperate telephone switchboard to answer, screen and forward calls, providing information, taking messages, and scheduling appointments.Receive payment and record receipts for services.Greet persons entering establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations.Hear and resolve complaints from customers and public.File and maintain records.Transmit information or documents to customers, using computer, mail, or facsimile machine.Analyze data to determine answers to questions from customers or members of the public.Provide information about establishment, such as location of departments or offices, employees within the organization, or services provided.Keep a current record of staff members’ whereabouts and availability.Collect, sort, distribute and prepare mail, messages, and courier deliveries.Process and prepare memos, correspondence, travel vouchers, or other documents.Perform duties such as taking care of plants and straightening magazines to maintain lobby or reception area.Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.Comply with all safety, security, compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.Perform other duties as assigned.*Job duties may be modified at any time.Minimum RequirementsEducation:High school diploma or GED required.

(Must provide proof upon offer acceptance)Language Skills:Ability to communicate effectively in the English language.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as government issued identification items, safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks.

 Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Math Skills:Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Reasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
