As a Security check in / Receptionist staff member, you have the opportunity provide security & administrative support to the team with the goal of providing a standard of excellence in guiding patients to improve their quality of life while helping relieve their symptoms.

Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesMonitor access in and out of the dispensary, helping dispensary staff control access to the facility in accordance with State Rules and RegulationsProtect company and customer information in accordance with policies/proceduresEngage in de-escalation techniques to assist with patient and customer concernsIn the event of emergency, secure staff, visitors, and building; act as liaison with local police or law enforcementMonitor security camerasGreet and check-in patients in a professional, pleasant and courteous manner, as well as schedule consultation appointments for patients through our online scheduling system.Delegate and communicate patient needs swiftly to dispensary staff to ensure prompt resolution.Responsible for taking incoming calls, checking voicemails, and distributing messages to appropriate personnel.

Returning phone calls in a timely fashion.Ensure that the dispensary is kept clean and organized for patients and staff.Understand and maintain compliance with all state regulations, as well as company policies and proceduresAssist with Administrative & Reception tasks as needed including; Building and maintaining patient profiles in our dispensing software system (BioTrack), which includes creation of profiles, updating patient information when necessary, and scanning required documentationPatient enrollment assistance through the state registration website (Biznet).Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor QualificationsEducation and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredExperience de-escalating challenging situations1-2 years experience in private or public security, law enforcement, or other governmental security agencies (Preferred, not required)Ability to pass a State mandated background checkMust be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining calm with a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer serviceMust be able to multi-task and prioritize needs in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with employees, patients and general public.Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practicesComputers and TechnologyProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookAbility to learn, navigate and accurately utilize the companys Point of Sale & Patient data management software systemsFamiliarity with Google Forms is a plusWork Environment and Physical DemandsOffice environment involves frequent standing, sitting, and walking.

Daily administrative tasks require frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination for accurate typing, paperwork, and other tasks.

The noise level in the work environment is moderate.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
