Mission:
Vista Del Mar provides a trauma-responsive continuum of services to empower children, youth, and families in Southern California to lead fulfilling lives.
Role Overview:
The Administrative Assistant will provide a wide variety of clerical activities, including administrative support such as but not limited to copy and fax, retrieve voice messages and return calls; combine and arrange materials from different sources; create documents; coordinate with paid and non-paid partners; prepare check requests; schedule client appointments; process screening applications; make and answer telephone calls; interview and secure information from callers; greet and receive clients; retrieve and respond to voice messages; write letters in accordance with oral and written directions; assist in maintenance of the schedule of the division directors etc.
The Administrative Assistant will classify, sort, and file correspondence and record material; keep program, department and agency forms up to date; coordinate meetings, etc.
What You Bring to VDM:
High School or Equivalent Required.
Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred.
At least 1 year of data entry preferred.
At least 1 year as an Administrative Assistant preferred.
COVID Vaccination Card (fully vaccinated) required.
