Controllers often are responsible for establishing systems and reporting infrastructure from scratch and working as an integrated member of the client’s management team.
As a Danforth Manager, you will have access to the resources of the entire Danforth organization and likely work with a team of other Danforth professionals on engagements.(br((br((strong(Potential Responsibilities(/strong((strong(:(br((br((/strong(Responsibilities for this role include but may not be limited to:(br((ul((li(Maintain accounting system(/li((li(Regular bookkeeping and accounting activities – monthly close, monthly reporting, and general financial administration(/li((li(Establish and perform procedures for setting up new vendors (contracts, W-9s) and paying monthly invoices; manage payables and cash disbursements(/li((li(Reconcile cash accounts, track cash usage and prepare cash flow projections(/li((li(Establish reporting template and perform monthly, quarterly and annual reporting (internal and external) (/li((li(Establish/maintain internal controls(/li((li(Work with the Company management team to prepare operating plans and budgets(/li((li(Input of budget in QuickBooks for variance analysis(/li((li(Manage insurance and banking relationships and service levels(/li((li(Monthly payroll/benefits administration(/li((li(Update and manage the Company’s cap table(/li((li(Provide support for fundraising initiatives(/li((li(Assist with tax returns, as appropriate(/li((li(Contribute to external reporting process including quarterly report on form 10-Q and annual report on form 10-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
